DESCRIPTION:
Cheshvan, Marcheshvan, or Bitter Month is the eighth month of the Hebrew calendar and generally occurs between October and November. The month consists of 29-30 days, depending upon the year.
This month does not have any significant celebrations. However, it is worth noting that the floods detailed in the story of Noah and his Arc (described in the holy books of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) began and ended a year later in the month of Cheshvan.
