National Tree Week in the United Kingdom occurs during the last week of November. This event highlights the importance of local trees growing in the United Kingdom and signals the winter tree planting season. This event was established in 1975 and is the largest tree celebration in Britain. During this time, members of The Tree Council hold local planting events.
