Alfredo Di Lelio owned a small restaurant in Rome in 1914. After his first son's birth, his wife Ines found it challenging to eat, and to help her, he created a dish of noodles, cheese, and butter. Visit Rome today, and you can still eat the original Fettuccini Alfredo at Alfredo's restaurant, L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante.
