Rawgust is a promotion by natural food for pets advocate CATalyst Council, which encourages pet parents to feed their animals a raw diet of real meat (or veggies if herbivores). Pet food manufacturers endeavor to create replacement foods that provide complete nutrition for pets. Raw food enthusiasts insist natural and authentic are always better than manufactured.
