Top Journalists—recognizing news, opinion & investigative media professionals who have showcased exceptional journalistic skills, providing unbiased, well-researched, and impactful stories to the public.
Top Livestreamers / Podcasters—focuses on livestreaming and podcasting have become immensely popular in recent years, with numerous personalities using these platforms to discuss various topics. Honored here are creators who produce engaging, insightful, and influential content via these mediums.
Top Media Outlets—features independent media organizations or platforms consistently delivering quality content to their audiences. Central to the award is the influence, journalistic integrity, and audience engagement these organizations create.
Top Independent Video Creators—recognizes the rise of video content on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, and other social media. The awards in this category acknowledge individuals or groups who have excelled in creating unique, impactful, and engaging video content for their audience.
The Indie Media Awards are a benchmark for quality and influence in the independent media world. The list of honorees for 2023 is announced at 10 PM EDT (GMT-4), Sunday, October 29, via the livestream program episode 99 of "How Did We Miss That?" via the INN and Indie Left Channels on YouTube, Facebook, Rumble, Rockfin, Twitch, Telegram, Substack and Twitter.
Indie Media began in 2019 as a daily aggregator hub for independent news, analysis, and opinion free from corporate advertiser influence.
