DESCRIPTION:
Baikal Ice Marathon is a race across the frozen waters of the largest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Baikal, just outside the Russian city of Irkutsk in Siberia.
The Marathon is a part of the winter games festival, “Winteriada,” which runs throughout March each year.
