Sports America Kids Sports Month coincides with International Children’s Awareness Month at the start of summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
The objective of this month is to encourage children to play outside, try a new sport, new game, and meet new friends.
Throughout the country, various organizations and community groups sponsor events. Check with your local YMCA and recreation center for opportunities in your area.
