October is ASPCA’S Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by bringing home a furry friend from your local shelter and providing a loving forever home.
Should you go big or small? The choice is up to you! There is a misconception that you need a big house to have a big dog. That’s a pity because many wonderful dogs fail to find forever families simply due to their size. While these dogs have a lot of love to give, they don’t need a mansion to be happy. They need a pet parent with a big heart who loves them and takes them out for walks.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a four-legged friend to your family, this is the month to do it. Check with your local shelter for help and programs to bring your new friend home.
