The Big Lunch is an annual get-together distilled to a local level. It's a chance for Brits to meet their neighbors over lunch and an open invitation to say 'hello' and build a community. Promoted annually by the Eden Project, this event first ran in 2009 and now attracts nearly 15% of the entire population of the UK.
