DESCRIPTION:
Yamuna Chhath or Yamuna Jayanti is a Hindu observance celebrating the Goddess Yamuna in the cities of Mathura and Vrindavan. It is believed by Hindus that on this day the Goddess Yamuna came down to the Earth via the Yamuna river. She is the goddess of cohabitation and the human reproduction.
