DESCRIPTION:
The Chinese Dragon Head Festival occurs on the second day of the second lunar month in the Chinese calendar. It commemorates the dragon legend in which on the second day of the second month in the Chinese lunar calendar, the dragon is awaked and raises his head. This is believed foretell the advent of the rains and the renewal of the earth.
