DESCRIPTION:
Burning Man is an arts inspired carnival held annually from the last Sunday of August to the first Monday of September in Black Rock, Nevada.
First held in San Francisco in 1986, Burning Man has become one of the most anticipated events in the Western United States, attracting tens of thousands of people each year. On Saturday night a large wooden man, representing the idea of radical self-expression, is burned creating one of the largest campfires in the world.
Attendees enjoy camping in the temporary city created, art exhibits, music and a quirky collection of art and culture.
