National Creamsicle Day provides an excuse to eat your favorite flavor of Creamsicle.
11-year-old Frank Epperson (inventor of the popsicle) created the Creamsicle in 1905 of vanilla ice cream dipped in fruit juice, then frozen on a stick.
Today this fruity-creamy frozen blend has lent its name to everything from cocktails to cakes. However, the Creamsicle continues to be one of the world’s favorite, low-calorie (under 100) treats!
