A celebration of culture and the past, Soma Nomaoi is an annual festival in Japan observed for over 1,000 years. In essence, 1,000 warriors dressed in ancient costume compete to obtain three flags on the field. Another group of men in white attempt to corral and catch the wild horses on the field.
