National Whiner's Day was set aside in 1986 as a day for those who didn't get what they wanted for the holidays to whine about it. Founded by Kevin C Zaborney, each year he publishes the that year's most prolific whiner, identified through nomination. Nomination close December 15 each year. Past Whiner winners have been Toblerone and Lindsey Lohan.
