International Black Women's History Month celebrates the contributions, struggles, and achievements of Black women worldwide. It provides an opportunity to recognize the intersectional experiences of Black women, including their race, gender, class, sexuality, and other factors that shape their lives.
Throughout the month, events honor the achievements of Black women in various fields, including arts, literature, science, politics, and social justice. It is also a time to reflect on the ongoing struggles that Black women face in their efforts to achieve equality and justice and to recognize the vital role that Black women have played in the fight for civil rights and social justice worldwide.
International Black Women's History Month, created in 2014, provides a platform for celebrating Black women's contributions and amplifying their voices.
