DESCRIPTION:
One of Korea's most important holidays, Chuseok, occurs on the fifth lunar month's fifth day. It is a day of feasting, with mooncakes prepared the night before so they can adorn ancestors' graves. Families visit tombs and gather for a great feast, earning Chuseok the moniker of the Korean Thanksgiving.
This event started over 1000 years ago and is a cultural tradition.
