The Nottingham Goose Fair was first held in the time of Robin Hood, in 1284 and has been held nearly every year since. One of the oldest ongoing festivals in Europe, this traditional country fair attracts over a half million people a year, (that's 5X the size of London during King Henry the VIII's reign!). Annually in Nottingham, England.
