DESCRIPTION:
Founded in 1999, the North American Wife Carrying Championships draws its origin from the Finnish games, which began in 1991. For spectators, this 278 yard race of men carrying their wives through a variety of obstacles is quite a spectacle and a good time for all. This race determines the winner for the US and Canada.
