Buzzards Day marks the anniversary of the first sighting of a Turkey Vulture (commonly known as buzzards) on March 15, 1957 on the Hinckley Reservation within the Cleveland Ohio Metroparks System.
Since that first spotting, each year Clevelanders head to the park to welcome and witness the return of the buzzards from their winter migration on this day.
