DESCRIPTION:
Energy balance and planetary temperature, greenhouse gases, atmospheric warming, oceans, ice, rocks, ecosystems and sustainability, these are all aspects in which chemistry interacts with the earth. Each year the week of Earth Day the American Chemistry Society does educational outreach to teachers and the general public for Chemists Celebrate Earth Week. The event site includes a variety resources for teaching and interacting with nature.
