Anti-bullying week is a United Kingdom school-based awareness campaign designed to assist schools in their approach to bullying including:
1) Ensuring pupils know what to do if they are being bullied,
2) How to will deal with anyone who bullies
3) That everyone should take bullying seriously
4) What the long-term impact of bullying can have on friendships, self-esteem, health and wellbeing.
Schools are encouraged to hold Anti-bullying assemblies. Family Lives, the sponsoring entity provides PowerPoint presentations, videos and flashcards to help get the discussion started.
