Log Cabin Day is a reminder of a simpler time. People are asked to pause and appreciate the beauty of log cabins.
Created in 1986 by the Log Cabin Society in Michigan, which is in turn was founded by the Bad Axe Historical Society and Virginia Hardy, this promotion is the best time to visit historical museums and learn more about log cabins.
Pioneer Log Village at 205 South Hanselman Street, Bad Axe, Michigan is the largest collection of authentic restored pioneer era log buildings in the state.
