The Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word(SM) is a three-day Festival celebrated yearly during the second entire weekend of October. It is free and open to the public, and no advance registration or tickets are required. All seating is on a first-come basis.
The Festival welcomes more than 200 authors from the nation and in every genre for readings, panel discussions, and book signings. Book lovers can hear from and meet some of America's foremost writers in fiction, history, mystery, food, biography, travel, poetry, and children's literature.
