About International Earth Hour

DESCRIPTION:
With support from the United Nations and other organizations, World Wildlife Fund has been sponsoring Earth Hour Since 2007.
The event aims to raise awareness of global warming and its impact. Every year, one hour between 8:30-9:30 PM local time is dedicated to earth hour.
The movement encouraged people to not only support climate projects but also help in spreading the word by ‘donating their social power’ and taking a stand against climate change on their Facebook and Twitter accounts.
