About the Great American Takeout

DESCRIPTION:
This event has expanded, but as of March 2, 2022, it has not set a date for 2022. California Pizza Kitchen, El Torito, Habit Burger Grill and other national eateries with dine-in and take-out capabilities joined together to create the Great American Takeout in response to the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic. With most communities worldwide in shelter-in-place, under curfew or lockdown, restaurants have been particularly hit hard with layoffs and lack of business. Taking part is simple: Order take-out and post to social media with #TheGreatAmericanTakeout. Encourage friends and neighbors to do the same.
Scheduled for Tuesday, we'll pick this up for 2021 on the last Tuesday of March as an estimated day.
