World Quark Day was invented in 2019 to celebrate the cream cheese like food out of Europe that can best be described as a cross between buttermilk and yogurt. Unlike a lot of the new foods that are plant based, quark is still derived from real buttermilk. It is much lower in fat than traditional cream cheese, but spreads as easily and can be substituted. High in calcium, it is especially prized in the elderly care community.

National Radon Action Month raises awareness about the radioactive gas that occurs naturally in the environment and causes serious health problems to those exposed. Radon comes from the natural decay of uranium that is found in nearly all soils. It typically moves up through the ground to the air above and into your home through cracks and other holes in the foundation. Your home traps radon inside, where it can build up. Any home may have a radon problem. This means new and old homes, well-sealed and drafty homes, and homes with or without basements. Test kits and public awareness campaigns are made available throughout the country via the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and supporting organizations.

Woodland Trust aims to preserve the British woodland so to preserve the numerous species indigenous to the United Kingdom and reduce carbon dioxide in the air.

National Religious Freedom Day marks the anniversary of the drafting of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom by Thomas Jefferson on January 16, 1786. The statute was ratified three days later and became the standard for the first amendment of the US Constitution. The first amendment was approved on December 15, 1791.

British rule ended on August 15, 1947, but existed as a Constitutional Monarchy under King George VI until the constitution came into effect. Today, it is the most populous democracy in the world.
