Sponsored by the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Women’s Health, National Women’s Checkup Day occurs during Women’s Health Week each year.
Women are encouraged to visit their health care provider for their annual checkup or well-woman visit to:
1) Discuss your health habits, family history, and family planning.
2) Get or schedule necessary screenings and exams.
3) Set health goals, such as weight loss and exercise.
