About the International Day of Tolerance

DESCRIPTION:
The UN General Assembly endorses the International Day of Tolerance to raise awareness of the need for tolerance in all aspects of human interaction. It was established through resolution 51/95.
This day focuses on human rights, the impact of hate crimes and discrimination, and the need to reduce fear of ‘the other’ via education, self-worth, and pride.
