From the Champion: "Saffron Day is a day to honor the life of little Deyaan Udani, a bright seven-year-old boy with an infectious smile who tragically passed away in 2016.
Deyaan and his older sister Naisha had learned about organ donation at school and had told their parents they wanted to be organ donors to help save others. Deyaan's parents' decision to donate his organs meant he saved four lives. Deyaan's family came up with the idea of Saffron Day because orange was Deyaan's favorite color and because Saffron symbolizes courage, strength, and sacrifice, qualities seen in little Deyaan."
Please do it for Deyaan by wearing orange this Saffron Day! #doitfordeyaan
