The Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and acknowledged the various resolutions that encourage cooperation between the UN and international organizations, which contributes to better coordination and coherence among police and law enforcement institutions. The Assembly also noted the efforts of the UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Policing in providing technical assistance to Member States in the fight against all forms of transnational organized crime. The resolution emphasized the need for international cooperation to strengthen various areas related to preventing and combating transnational crime, particularly organized crime, and countering terrorism.
