The polar regions support a rich array of life in the Arctic and Antarctic. Scientists worldwide are working together to increase our knowledge of the cryosphere and its inhabitants in a spirit of international cooperation.
Sponsor APECS's Education and Outreach Committee uses this opportunity to plan & develop polar science-related activities alongside teachers, educators, and those interested in polar education each year. This event occurs twice a year near the spring and autumn equinox.
