About Walking the Dog Day

DESCRIPTION:
National Walking the Dog Day is an unofficial event with no sponsor.
However, since dogs need to be walked every day, use this day as a reminder of that. There is National Walk Your Dog Week, which occurs in October. This event began in 2010 and is designed to put focus on the increasing problem of canine behavior issues and canine obesity in America. National Walk Your Dog Week is an official, sponsored event.
