DESCRIPTION:
On a Sunday, usually prior to Memorial Day, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana roars to life.
The Indianapolis 500, or the Indy 500, is billed as The Greatest Spectacle in Racing and is part of the Triple Crown of Motorsports.
The race's been held for over 100 years, with its first run in 1911. That race was won by Ray Harroun.
