DESCRIPTION:
Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Week is one week a year to focus on arthritis education and prevention in the UK and Canada. Currently one in six Australians suffer from arthritis and it accounts for 8% of the total burden of disease and injury in the country. There are more than 100 different forms of arthritis with Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Gout the most common conditions.
There is no 'too young to get arthritis' age, it affects children, adults and seniors.
