Mental Health Week in the United States occurs in the week leading up to World Mental Health Day or within that week. It is promoted by the National Alliance of Mental Health and seeks to raise awareness of mental health issues, treatments, and tactics for overcoming this prevalent condition.
Canada and the United Kingdom hold their Mental Health Awareness Weeks in May.
