You know them by several names: Jujubes, Juicy Fruit, and even DOTS. Gumdrops, the sweet or spice candy, first gained popularity in the 1920s and quickly became a staple at movie theaters. Unlike chocolates, they don’t melt in your hands.
Gumdrops are made with pectin, gelatin, sugar, juice, and spices.
