About the Hindu Day of Shattila Ekadashi

DESCRIPTION:
Ekadashi is a Hindu observance that can fall into two categories: annually and monthly.
Sattila or Tilda Ekadashi falls on the 11th day of the waning moon (Krishan Paksha) during the fortnight of the Hindu month of Magha.
Devotees consider it highly auspicious to bathe in the water mixed with sesame seeds on this day and to offer donations to the needy.
