DESCRIPTION:
National Mulled Wine Day celebrates heated wine steeped in spices, referred to as mulled wine.
The Romans were the first to heat wine and add spices to keep warm during the long winters. Today mulled wine is a tradition at Christmas and Christmas fairs throughout much of Europe.
