If you find yourself cruising around Canada on National Injury Prevention Day (created in 2017), you might notice a lot of green. Green waterfalls, green bridges, green landmarks, and green buildings. It's not a leftover of St. Patrick's day or a shout-out to an Islamic holiday. The green is an awareness campaign by Parachute to raise the visibility of the importance of injury prevention across the country. It is also the day Parachute releases its annual report on the previous year's Costs of Injury to the nation.
