Australians celebrate National Cupcake Day throughout August to raise awareness and support the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Cupcakes (or pupcakes) are baked, handed out, and sold along with information about the work of the RSPCA and the animals it saves. It’s a tasty way to support animal rights, respect life and help make the world a little more loving and friendly, one cupcake at a time. Individuals wishing to participate can sign up at the RSPCA, then choose a date in August to hold their pupcake fundraiser.
