Anti-bullying week is a United Kingdom school-based awareness campaign designed to assist schools in their approach to bullying, including:
1) Ensuring pupils know what to do if bullied
2) How to will deal with bullies
3) That everyone should take bullying seriously
4) The long-term impact bullying has on friendships, self-esteem, health, and well-being.
Schools are encouraged to hold Anti-bullying assemblies. Family Lives, the sponsoring entity, provides PowerPoint presentations, videos, and flashcards to help get the discussion started. See their website to download resources. http://www.bullying.co.uk
