DESCRIPTION:
Black Friday occurs the Friday after Thanksgiving Day in the United States, the starting point of the Christmas shopping season.
Many stores and shops in the US open up early and offer severe discounts on goods. It is not uncommon for people to camp outside malls and stores to be the first in line when the store opens.
The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas can account for up to 60% of a retailer’s annual sales. How well sales go on Black Friday and the weekend often determines how profitable the holiday season will be.
