DESCRIPTION:
Magha is the eleventh month of the Hindu calendar and corresponds to January-February in the Gregorian calendar. Its name relates to the full moon, usually present or within the Magha star cluster.
Magha is considered sacred and marks the beginning of the sun's northern path.
Magha Purnima, the last and most important day of the month, is celebrated with holy baths.
