Since Utah eats more Jell-O than any other state, it's fitting that it declared National Jell-O Week in 2001 and made it the official state food.
Peter Cooper invented the wiggly food in the 1800s, but his wife May named it. Today there are 22 flavors, and over 75% of American households have at least one box of Jell-O at home.
