About World Book Day

DESCRIPTION:
World Book Day is an annual event that began in the United Kingdom. Its purpose is to promote books and reading to children and help them experience how enjoyable reading can be.
Additionally, the event seeks to supply poor children globally with books they can take home and keep. Millions of children worldwide do not have access to libraries and books, and in some cases, the books children receive on World Book Day are the first books they’ll ever own.
