Patient Safety Awareness Week educates caregivers and patients about healthcare safety. Participating institutions display the NPSF campaign logo, and community outreach seeks to educate hospital staff, in-home caregivers, and patients. Each year a different theme focuses on a specific aspect of healthcare safety.
