DESCRIPTION:
Maundy Thursday, or Holy Thursday in Christianity, is the first day of the Easter Triduum commemorating Christ's Passion (torture, crucifixion, and resurrection).
Maundy Thursday is the last day of Lent liturgically (though not of the Lenten fast), and it falls on a different date each year.
