About National Substance Abuse Preservation Month

DESCRIPTION:
First held in 2011 and kicked off with a proclamation by President Barack Obama, National Substance Abuse Prevention Month exists to urge people and organizations to engage in appropriate programs, events and activities that promote substance abuse prevention and help those with a problem find help.
This awareness month is now supported by hundreds of organizations nationwide including the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD).
