WORLD DAY OF THE FIGHT AGAINST SEXUAL EXPLOITATION
World Day of Fight Against Sexual Exploitation, observed annually on March 4th, is a global day of awareness dedicated to highlighting the issue of sexual exploitation in all its forms, including trafficking, sexual violence, and abuse. This day serves as a call to action for governments, organizations, and individuals around the world to unite in their efforts to combat sexual exploitation and to provide support for survivors.
World Day of Fight Against Sexual Exploitation began as the Women's World March initiative in 2009. The Women's World March is a global feminist action network that works to eliminate the causes of poverty and violence against women and advocates for equality and justice in various spheres of life. The designation of March 4th as the World Day of Fight Against Sexual Exploitation was part of their broader efforts to address the systemic issues that contribute to the exploitation and abuse of women and girls worldwide.
The aim of the World Day of Fight Against Sexual Exploitation is multifaceted.
